Offline copies from x-x-x.tube

Each replay of a video on XXX Tube streams it over the network again, which uses bandwidth and depends on the connection holding up and on the site keeping its pages the same. Xxxtube Video Downloader saves the video once instead. It watches the standard video page on x-x-x.tube, finds the stream after you press play, and writes it to your drive as an ordinary MP4. There's no third-party download site or separate utility in the loop; everything happens inside the browser.

XXX Tube is an adult video host carrying both user uploads and studio content. Keep copies only of material you own or have clear permission to store.

Three clicks, page to file

1. Play the video on its x-x-x.tube page so the stream begins loading.
2. Open the toolbar popup and let it pick up the stream.
3. Download, after choosing a resolution if the page offers several.

Installing is a one-time step beforehand: take the build for your browser from the latest GitHub release and add it to the browser.

Capabilities at a glance

• Picks up video streams on supported XXX Tube video pages
• Saves each one as a standard MP4 that common media players open and that copies easily between devices
• Lets you choose a resolution when the page carries several stream levels; a single-stream video is still saved in its only quality
• Keeps every control in a compact popup
• Light on browser resources
• Receives regular updates to stay compatible with XXX Tube

Browsers, accounts and access

Builds are available for desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox. Support in mobile browsers is not guaranteed.

You never need an XXX Tube account. The only sign-in is for the extension itself: your email plus a one-time password, which confirms activation. Downloads require a working internet connection.

Pages it understands

The extension is tuned to the regular video page, the kind whose address runs through the /videos/ route, for example /videos/<id>/. Other page types may not be recognized, and on them the toolbar icon can stay greyed out. If XXX Tube restructures its pages, compatibility can change until an update catches up. Larger files take longer to process, and a video in a format the extension doesn't handle yet produces an unsupported-format error.

FAQ

Is every kind of XXX Tube page covered, or only some?

Only the standard video pages that use the /videos/ route are targeted. Page types outside that pattern may not work.

Can I use it from a phone's browser?

It is made for desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox. Running it in mobile browsers is not guaranteed to work.

Must I register on XXX Tube before saving anything?

No site account is needed. You sign in to the extension only, with your email and a one-time password, to confirm activation.

How much say do I have over the resolution of the saved file?

When the page carries more than one stream, the popup lets you pick the resolution. A single-stream video downloads in the one quality available.

The toolbar icon is grey on the page I'm viewing. Why?

The extension is probably not active on that type of page. Open a normal video page under the /videos/ route and try again.

I got an unsupported-format message. Is the extension broken?

Most likely that particular video uses a format it can't handle yet. Try another video; if that one works, the extension is fine.

The popup isn't finding the video. What helps?

Make sure the page has finished loading and the video is actually playing. If it still shows nothing, refresh, start playback again and reopen the popup.

A download quit before finishing. Should I just retry?

Check your connection first, then retry. Large files also need more processing time, so give them longer.

Is this legal to use?

You should only download content you own or have clear permission to save. Respect copyright and terms of service.
