One site, done properly

WatchPorn doesn't let you download, and all-round video extensions aren't tuned for its player. They hand back broken files, drop the audio track, or save formats that are awkward to play, and cycling through several of them rarely ends well. Watchporn Video Downloader skips that by caring about WatchPorn video pages and nothing else. Once playback is underway it captures what the player is streaming and hands it back to you as a clean MP4.

Which addresses it recognizes

Host matching covers the main domain, the www version and every subdomain of watchporn.to. Within those hosts it works on single video pages only; browsing pages such as categories or search results, and the rest of the site, aren't supported.

Using it

• Setup: install the build for your browser from the newest release. There's little else to configure.
• Playback: open a video page on watchporn.to and press play, letting it buffer so the player loads the stream.
• Popup: click the toolbar icon to see the streams it found. If there's a choice of qualities, pick one.
• Save: press download and find the MP4 in your downloads folder.

Activating the extension takes an email sign-in, verified with a one-time password.

Detection and quality

Nothing is detected on a page where the video is sitting idle; the extension needs the player to be actively streaming before it can see anything. Whether you get a quality menu depends on the page: some videos are only served at one resolution, and the extension shows whatever is available. Progress and completion feedback in the popup tell you when the MP4 is done.

Footprint and privacy

The extension is lightweight and runs no unnecessary background processes. Its activity is limited to spotting media on WatchPorn video pages.

Compatibility and output

Available for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox; see the latest release for the build for each browser. Files come out as standard MP4, ready to play right away on mobile devices, a smart TV or a desktop player. Should a saved file refuse to open, check that its name ends in .mp4 and, failing that, try a different media player.

Using it responsibly

WatchPorn is an adult video platform. Keep to videos that are yours or that you've been clearly permitted to keep, and stay online for the length of every download.

FAQ

Will it save from WatchPorn category or search pages?

No. Only a page showing one particular video works; listing pages like categories or searches, and other site sections, are not handled.

Clicking download on a WatchPorn video while another is mid-transfer: does it run alongside?

It waits its turn. Downloads run one at a time, and the second begins once the current one has finished.

Is there a Firefox build of the WatchPorn tool?

Yes. Builds are offered for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox; the latest release shows which file belongs to which browser.

Does activating the WatchPorn extension involve creating an account?

You sign in with your email address and confirm it with a one-time password sent to you.

Does Watchporn Video Downloader track what I browse?

No. It only works with WatchPorn video pages to find media, gathers no personal data and doesn't watch your browsing.

What does it mean when the toolbar icon stays inactive?

Usually that the tab isn't a video page on watchporn.to, or that the extension isn't installed properly.

A download failed partway. How do I retry?

Check your connection, reload the video page, start playback again and run the download once more.
