Taxi69 Video Downloader
Recognises Taxi69's /video/ routes on the main domain and its subdomains, detects the stream and saves a complete MP4 in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Firefox.
Scope
On the adult video platform Taxi69, each video has its own page under the /video/ path, for example /video/<id>/, and most generic download tools don't recognise that address pattern. Taxi69 Video Downloader is built around it and nothing else.
- Domains:
taxi69.com,www.taxi69.comand other Taxi69 subdomains - Pages: individual video routes only. Category listings, search pages and the rest of the site are deliberately left alone.
- Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox, each with a matching build
- Result: an MP4 file, which plays on desktop media players, mobile phones, smart TVs and every major operating system
Why Not Just Use Any Downloader?
With Taxi69, online download tools are a gamble. Some don't understand the URL scheme, some return broken files, and nearly all of them want you to paste the link into somebody else's website. Extensions that claim to work on every site frequently miss Taxi69's video routing altogether.
This one is shaped to the site's actual page structure. It only switches on when you're on a matching video page, finds the stream on its own and hands over a finished MP4. The popup is kept to the essentials: see what was detected, choose, download. Because the extension does the detection inside your own browser, there's no third-party site to paste a link into, and what you get back is the whole MP4 assembled from the stream the page itself was playing.
Getting a Video
Setup. Fetch the package for your browser from the project's GitHub releases and load it by following your browser's developer-mode or sideload steps. Activation uses a one-time password sent to your email, with no traditional password to create.
Find the page. Open a Taxi69 video and check that its address sits under /video/.
Let it play. Allow the player to load and run a few seconds of playback so the stream becomes detectable. If the popup was opened before that and shows nothing, refresh, press play and open it again.
Pick and save. Click the toolbar icon. If more than one quality level is listed, choose the one you want; if the source only offers a single resolution, that's what you get. Press download and wait while the MP4 is assembled. The finished file goes to your browser's downloads folder, or to a folder you choose. If you lose track of it, your browser's download notification or download bar can show you where it was saved.
Limits
The extension does nothing outside individual /video/ pages, and it won't work on other sites. When the icon or popup doesn't appear on what looks like a video, check both the address and that the extension is installed and switched on in the browser.
A transfer that breaks off usually comes down to the connection, so check it and retry. The stream behind a page can also change; in that case reload the page and start over. Every download needs an internet connection, and you should only keep videos that are yours or that you've been explicitly allowed to save.
FAQ
What does Taxi69 Video Downloader need from me to get started?
Sign in with your email and the one-time password it receives. You don't create a regular password.
Does it work on Taxi69 category or search pages?
No. It's intentionally limited to individual video pages under /video/, so listings, search results and other sections of the site are out of scope.
Can I use it in Brave or Firefox?
Yes. Builds are available for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox on the releases page; install the one that matches your browser.
A video won't download. What's the fix?
First confirm the page is a Taxi69 /video/ address. Then reload it, start playback and retry. If that changes nothing, open your browser's extension settings and make sure the extension is turned on.
Are different resolutions available?
If the video is served at several quality levels, the popup shows them and you choose. If there's only one resolution, you'll get that one.
I saved a Taxi69 clip but can't spot the file. Where is it?
In your browser's default download directory unless you pick another folder. The browser's download notification or bar can reveal the exact location.
