Getting a recording

You activate the extension by signing in with your email and a single-use password. Recordings are reached through your Stripchat account, so be logged in when you open a VR recording page. The extension then picks up the VR stream and its stereoscopic variants and lists the quality tiers the VR manifest offers by resolution and bitrate. Choose one, start the download, and copy the finished file to your headset or open it on a monitor.

• Saved VR recordings only. Live VR streams cannot be captured in real time; the standard Stripchat downloader is the tool for live capture.
• 2D Stripchat content is also left to the standard downloader.
• A Stripchat account is required, and the extension uses your logged-in session, so it only saves recordings your account can already view. Private or restricted recordings you cannot access are out of reach.
• Quality and format depend on what each recording provides.

Everything is processed locally in the browser and no video data leaves your device.
