A PornXP video page is mostly a wrapper. The player lives in an embedded iframe, and the real stream endpoint only becomes visible once playback has passed through that layer. Step through a save
- Pick the build for your browser from the newest GitHub release and install it.
- Visit a PornXP video page.
- Let the page load fully, including the iframe area that holds the player.
- Press play. Some PornXP pages hold back the media stream until playback starts, so this step matters if nothing shows up straight away.
- Open the popup by clicking the extension's icon in your toolbar.
- Allow a moment while it follows the iframe and checks for media.
- Choose a quality or format from the detected streams.
- Start the download and the MP4 is saved to your device.
Downloads are processed in sequence through the popup, so wait for one to finish before starting another.
Pages and timing
Detection switches on only for PornXP video pages with the expected address structure, and on those pages nothing can be found until the embedded player has loaded and playback is under way. Download control problems and interrupted transfers are covered in the questions below.
Compatibility and upkeep
Supported browsers are Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox. Each browser has its own build in the release, so download the one that matches.
Quality choices depend on what each PornXP page exposes; standard-definition and high-definition variants are common examples. An internet connection is required while downloading, and if PornXP restructures its pages, an extension update may be needed to stay compatible.
