The iframe problem

Open a Pornvibe video and the page you land on doesn't hold the media itself. Playback is handed to an embedded iframe, and the address of the real stream surfaces only inside that inner layer. A browser's save command, or a downloader that only reads the outer page, sees nothing worth saving and misses the video altogether.

Pornvibe Video Downloader is built around that handoff. It recognises Pornvibe's page layout and URL routing, follows the playback chain into the iframe, and once the player exposes its sources it shows you the video streams it was able to reach. Rather than one generic extraction method for every site, it uses logic shaped to the way this particular site delivers media.

Saving your first video

1. From the latest GitHub release, take the build intended for your browser and install it.
2. Go to a Pornvibe title page that has a player on it.
3. Let everything render, the iframe player area included.
4. Press play; that is what starts the media delivery the extension watches for.
5. Click the Pornvibe Video Downloader icon in the toolbar to open the popup.
6. Wait briefly while it traces the iframe handoff and looks for streams.
7. Choose the quality or format you want from what it detected.
8. Start the download, and the MP4 is written to your device.

Downloads run sequentially, one video per title page. When the current file is finished you can queue the next one.

Scope and caveats

Detection is meant for Pornvibe title pages that contain a video player and use the expected address structure. Category listings, search results and other kinds of page generally won't wake it up, which is why the icon can look inactive there. Because the extension is matched to Pornvibe's current page structure, a redesign on the site may call for an extension update before it works again.

Timing matters too: media only becomes detectable once the iframe has resolved, and the questions below cover empty popups, unresponsive controls and interrupted downloads. You need to be online to download at all.

Browsers and privacy

Supported browsers are Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers may also work. Pick the matching build from the release page.

The extension doesn't record which videos you save or watch your download activity, since every processing step happens locally.

Pornvibe is a video host that plays content through an iframe-based player. Only save material that is yours or that you have clearly been allowed to download.

FAQ

Is batch downloading of several Pornvibe videos possible?

Not in parallel. The extension handles a single video at a time from its title page; once that download completes, you can start the next.

Do category and search pages on Pornvibe work, or only video pages?

Title pages that contain a video player. Category listings, search results and other page types usually fall outside what it covers.

Is my Pornvibe download history being logged?

No. It does not log or watch your download activity, and processing happens on your own machine within the browser.

Can I run it in Brave or another Chromium browser?

Brave is supported, along with Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Other browsers built on Chromium may work as well.

Must I register before downloading from Pornvibe?

You need to sign in with your email to activate the extension. A one-time password is sent to your inbox for that sign-in.

The Pornvibe popup is empty even though the video loaded. Why?

Sources only become visible after the iframe handoff resolves. Make sure playback has started, let it run a few seconds, then reopen the popup.

The download control on Pornvibe seems greyed out. How do I get it working?

Reload the page, start the video again and then reopen the popup.

A Pornvibe download died before finishing. What should I check?

Your connection first; then retry. The source itself occasionally has short availability interruptions.
