Pornhat Video Downloader
Made for Pornhat video pages: it spots the M3U8 or MP4 feed inside the embedded player and lets you keep it on your device as an MP4.

Where Ordinary Downloading Breaks Down
Try to save a Pornhat video the usual way and you'll find there's nothing to grab. The page is a shell around an embedded iframe, and the actual stream is loaded by the player inside that frame. Right-click options and basic download tricks don't reach it, and general-purpose download sites may or may not handle Pornhat at all.
Pornhat Video Downloader is wired to this particular setup. Its detection centres on the iframe player: as the player starts, the extension notices the media it requests and pulls out the M3U8 and MP4 addresses before they disappear into playback. Those streams then appear in the toolbar popup, each one a click away from being saved.
All of this stays inside the browser. You don't paste an address into an outside tool or install a separate program; the extension does the looking, and you choose from what it found.
Feature Rundown
- Works on Pornhat video pages using the
/video/<slug>/route and ignores everything else on the site - Reads the iframe playback layer, which ordinary tools can't see into
- Accepts direct MP4 files as well as M3U8/HLS playlist streams
- Converts every download to standard MP4
- Shows detected media as a neat list with a download button per entry
- Stays in the background with a light footprint until you open a recognised page
- Saves through your browser's own download engine, with no standalone app or copying of links between tools
Because the output is always MP4, the file plays on any modern device. You can copy it to a phone, keep it on an external drive or open it in whichever media player you prefer.
Saving Your First Video
Set it up. Get the extension file for your browser from the latest GitHub release and install it with the browser's extension manager.
Open the right page. Go to a Pornhat video whose address contains /video/<slug>/. The extension has nothing to do on the front page, in category views or in search results.
Start the player. Wait for the page to finish loading and press play. Detection needs the player to initialise.
Scan. Click the extension's toolbar icon. The scan normally takes only a few seconds.
Choose and download. The list reflects what the player offered for this video during this session. Look through the options in the popup, select the quality or format you want and press download. When the browser asks, choose where the MP4 should be stored.
Signing In
You don't log in to Pornhat to use this. Activating the extension is handled by an email login verified with a one-time password. A code arrives in your inbox, you enter it, and the extension is ready to use.
Caveats
The stream data is fetched while the download runs, so the computer has to stay online. Pornhat also doesn't configure its player identically for every video: clips with an unusual setup or added protection, DRM included, may not be detected or saved.
A couple of browser-side issues can look like a fault in the extension. A toolbar icon that never lights up usually means the open page is a homepage, category or search view rather than a video. A download button that seems dead often comes down to browser download settings that make extensions ask before saving, or to a disk with no free space.
Pornhat can update its player infrastructure at any time, and when it does, the extension may need an update of its own. Keep only videos you are entitled to save, and respect the rights of the people who own them.
FAQ
Why use this rather than a site-agnostic download tool?
General tools try to work on every site. This one is built around Pornhat's /video/<slug>/ pages and the way its player behaves, so it knows where the stream comes from and you skip the guesswork that comes with generic alternatives.
How does the extension actually locate the video?
It relies on the iframe-based player. That embedded player is its main detection point: the extension watches what it loads to find the real stream behind the outer page.
Which file types will I see and end up with?
Whatever Pornhat's player loads, M3U8 playlist or MP4 file, is detected, and every download is exported as a standard MP4 so it works on as many devices as possible.
Why do certain Pornhat videos refuse to download?
The site doesn't use one player setup for every video. Ones with an unusual configuration or additional protection may stay invisible to the extension.
Is a Pornhat account part of the setup?
No. The only sign-in is for the extension itself, using your email and a one-time password.
My download finished but the video won't open. Now what?
Refresh the page and run the download again from the start. If it still won't open, the original stream was probably damaged or had already expired.
