Pornbaker Video Downloader
Catches the M3U8 or MP4 stream inside Pornbaker's embedded player and turns it into an MP4 file saved wherever you choose.
A player inside a player
Videos on Pornbaker (pornbaker.com) don't load straight into the page. They play in an embedded iframe, so the page itself is little more than a frame around someone else's player, and right-click saving or the usual download tricks come up empty.
Pornbaker Video Downloader is built only for this site rather than as a catch-all tool that half-works everywhere. It watches the playback pipeline and catches the M3U8 playlists and direct MP4 files the iframe player requests once a video starts, before they vanish behind the player. Saving then feels like any other browser download.
What you end up with
| Streams it picks up | M3U8/HLS playlists and direct MP4 files from the embedded player |
| File it saves | MP4, converted by the extension, so it plays on almost any device or media player with no extra software |
| Quality | Whichever quality levels or formats the player offers for that video |
| Where it goes | A location you choose on your device, saved by the browser's own download engine |
Using it on a video page
Install the build for your browser from the latest GitHub release through the browser's extension manager. Then open a Pornbaker video, let the page finish loading and press play; the player has to start before any stream appears. Click the toolbar icon and the popup opens and begins scanning the page. When it's done you get a tidy list of every stream it detected, each with its own download button; if the list is empty, the video probably isn't playing yet or the address isn't a supported video page. Pick a quality, click download, and the extension converts the stream to MP4 and asks where to put it.
The extension stays out of the way on other pages and only switches on for recognised Pornbaker video URLs. All of the processing happens locally in your browser, with no external tools and no copying links into other programs.
Where it stops
- The homepage, category views and search pages aren't supported, and the icon stays dark on them.
- Pornbaker doesn't use the same player setup for every video. Ones with an unusual configuration, DRM or other restrictions may not be detected.
- An internet connection is needed while the stream data is pulled.
- If Pornbaker changes its player, the extension may need its own update before it works again.
- It is for Pornbaker only and won't work on other sites.
Account and responsible use
You log in to the extension with your email address and a one-time password rather than a stored password. Only save videos you are authorised to keep.
FAQ
On what kind of Pornbaker address does the extension activate?
Individual video pages on pornbaker.com. Homepages, category listings and search results aren't recognised.
Will it save videos from other adult sites too?
No. Its detection is written around Pornbaker's page structure, and that narrow focus is what keeps it dependable there; other platforms aren't supported.
Nothing shows up because the iframe player never loads. What should I try?
Refresh the page, start the video, and run detection again. If it still fails, open a different video page to find out whether the problem is that one video or the extension.
Where can I report a bug?
Use the project's GitHub Issues page. Search the existing reports first so duplicate issues don't pile up; that helps the developers sort out what to fix first.
The download finished but the MP4 won't open, or clicking download does nothing. Why?
For a file that won't play, reload and download it again from the start; if that keeps happening, the stream on Pornbaker's end was probably damaged or no longer valid. If the button does nothing, look at your browser's download settings, since some require you to allow extensions to save files, and check that you have disk space free.
