1. Install. Take the latest release of Playhdporn Video Downloader and add it to your browser.

Saving happens inside the browser through its own download engine, with no outside programs and nothing to copy and paste. Input, output and quality

The player can serve a direct MP4 file or an M3U8 playlist, the HLS method of streaming a video as many small chunks. Both are detected. A direct file needs little work, while a playlist's pieces are converted into a single file, so either way what you keep is an MP4. That format opens on phones, tablets and computers and in ordinary media players, and can be archived on an external drive without any special software.

Quality choices are taken from the player's own stream data. When Playhdporn provides several resolutions for a video, each one is listed in the popup; when it provides a single one, that is what you get.

Where it can come up short

• Only pages with the /video/<id>/<slug>/ pattern are supported. Category listings, search results and other non-video sections lack the player the extension depends on, so its icon stays inactive there.
• Saving depends on the player exposing the stream, which is not guaranteed for every page. Some Playhdporn videos use another player configuration or DRM protection; if one turns up nothing, test a different video to see whether the extension itself is working.
• Internet access is needed until the download completes. A connection that drops mid-download can leave an empty or broken file, so reload, play again and retry.
• When nothing starts at all, check that your browser permits downloads, that its security settings are not blocking downloads triggered by extensions, and that disk space is available.
• A change Playhdporn makes to its player or site may affect detection now and then.
