Inxxx Video Downloader
Made for inXXX's /v/ video routes, this extension hooks the embedded iframe player and saves the M3U8 or MP4 stream it loads.
A page in two layers
Open a video on inXXX and you're looking at two layers stacked together. The outer one is the page, easy to spot by its /v/ route and the .xxx-video tag in the address. Inside it sits an iframe player that is fetched on its own, apart from the rest of the content. Only that inner player ever touches the media. Most downloaders read the page source, which never mentions the file, so feeding an inXXX address to a generic tool produces a scan of the outer HTML and nothing to save.
Inxxx Video Downloader works from inside the second layer. Once it sees a /v/ route, it waits while the iframe player starts up and catches the M3U8 playlist or MP4 file at the moment the player requests it. Everything happens in your own browser. You don't copy addresses into another service or a paste-link website, and you don't have to read network requests yourself; at the end there's a plain download button.
What it picks up
- Segmented M3U8 playlists, which let you choose between qualities when the player offers several
- Direct MP4 files, when the player serves one instead
- Format and quality details for every source, shown in the toolbar popup
You don't have to know in advance which delivery method a page uses; the extension works it out. Whatever the input, the saved file is a standard MP4, playable on computers of any kind, on phones and tablets, and through media servers. Some inXXX videos expose only a single stream variant, and then the popup has just one entry, since it shows the full set the player provides and nothing beyond it.
From play button to saved MP4
- Install the extension from its current release and complete activation: an email sign-in confirmed with a one-time password.
- Click into an inXXX video so the address shows
/v/and.xxx-video. - Let everything render, including the frame holding the player, then press play so the player sends its stream request.
- Click the toolbar icon. The popup looks inside the iframe player and lists the M3U8 or MP4 sources it found.
- Pick a quality tier if there is a choice, press download, and watch the progress in the popup.
- Open the finished MP4 on your machine with VLC, the player built into your system, or any other app that handles MP4.
Scope and requirements
The extension is matched to inXXX's current page architecture and turns on only for /v/ addresses. Every other tab leaves it dormant, which keeps resource use low, and on inXXX itself, tag listings, category pages and search results don't fit the activation pattern, so the icon stays grey there. Pages outside the /v/ route may not work at all.
What can be detected is whatever the iframe player reveals while the video plays, so a stream sometimes isn't visible at the moment you look. Your connection must stay up for the whole transfer. Segmented M3U8 downloads are the most fragile if the network drops, while direct MP4 downloads usually hold up better. Save only material you are entitled to download.
FAQ
Which inXXX pages was the extension built around?
Video pages on the /v/ route, which normally have addresses ending in .xxx-video.
Are pages outside the /v/ route covered?
Not reliably. It handles /v/ routes where an embedded player or iframe shows the video; other kinds of pages may not be compatible.
Nothing was detected; what should I check?
The iframe player may not have loaded yet. Press play, give it several seconds, make sure the page has finished rendering, and reopen the popup. Occasionally a page simply doesn't reveal a detectable stream when you visit it.
Does inXXX have anything to do with this extension?
No. SERP Apps develops Inxxx Video Downloader as an independent browser extension, and inXXX neither runs nor endorses it.
What does activation on inXXX pages involve?
An email sign-in. You enter your address and confirm it with a one-time password, which activates the extension in your browser.
My saved file refuses to play. What now?
Try VLC Media Player. Some default system players support fewer codecs than VLC does.
