Reading the address first

InPorn gives each video a page of its own, and the paths follow one regular shape: a number, then a name, as in /video/445/paris-white-108/. Inporn Video Downloader keys on that /video/<number>/<name>/ form and stays switched off everywhere else. Browsing the catalog, running a search or sitting on the homepage won't activate it, and other tabs and websites are left completely alone.

The file shows up only when the player starts

That neat address scheme doesn't mean the video is easy to reach. Nothing in the page's HTML points to the media. An embedded player, running in its own layer above the page, fetches the stream as part of starting up. A downloader that reads the page source therefore finds nothing, and tools that reuse one generic routine for every site they list rarely trace the path from a catalog entry into that player.

Saving an InPorn video

1. Add the build for your browser from the newest release through the normal extension install.
2. Go to a video on InPorn and check that its address has the /video/<number>/<name>/ shape.
3. Wait for the embedded player to appear, then press play. Before playback the player hasn't fetched anything, so there would be nothing to find.
4. Click the toolbar icon. The popup goes through the player's requests and shows each M3U8 or MP4 source.
5. When several qualities are on offer, choose one; then start the download and let it finish.
6. Play the saved MP4 in any media player you like.

What lands on your drive

The result is always an MP4, whichever kind of source the player used, and every major platform can play it without converting anything. Each save covers one video taken from its own page; batch downloads aren't offered. All processing runs locally in the browser, so your viewing stays private, and the copies can be watched offline or moved to another device.

Quality choices are limited to what InPorn delivers. A number of videos come with just one stream variant, and in that case the popup has a single entry, because it lists every option the player provides and no more.

Sign-in

Public InPorn video pages don't call for an InPorn account. The extension uses its own SERP account instead, and you sign in to it by email with a one-time password.

Coverage and connection

Detection is built around the numeric /video/ pages and the hand-over to their embedded player, and support for more of the site's videos is still growing, so some pages may not yield a source yet. Keep the connection up until each download completes. Segmented M3U8 transfers are the most likely to fail if the network wobbles, whereas a short interruption usually doesn't stop an MP4 download. Save only videos you have permission to keep.
