GoKollab Downloader
Save a whole GoKollab lesson page in one pass, its videos alongside the images, GIFs and written steps, while your access still lasts.

Lessons with an expiry date
Session replays on GoKollab expire, team roles get reshuffled, and a lesson you leaned on last month may be gone before anybody saved it. GoKollab Downloader captures the whole lesson page while you still have access, not only its video, so you aren't saving a clip here and a screenshot there.
Everything on the page, in one scan
Open a lesson and click the extension. In a single pass it looks through the page (GoKollab itself, or a compatible portal running on HighLevel) for video, still images, GIFs and written text. The popup sorts what it found into tabs:
- Videos: native portal video where available, plus embedded Loom, Vimeo, YouTube and Wistia
- Images/GIFs: the screenshots and animations that sit alongside the lesson
- Text: the written steps or notes extracted from the page
Pick single items, or press Download Visible to batch-save everything currently detected. That covers lessons where one or more videos come with supporting visuals and instructions, and it means one tool handles every embedded provider instead of a separate method for each.
How downloads behave
Direct files and HLS-based streams each go through the matching platform-specific workflow. Stream conversion happens in a hidden offscreen context, so the page doesn't freeze while an HLS asset is assembled. Files save automatically, with no dialog per job, and conflict-safe naming keeps repeated exports from overwriting earlier ones. A built-in download manager tracks progress while a few jobs run side by side.
You won't find a right-click download option or desktop pop-up alerts; progress is shown in the extension's interface and the manager.
Typical session
- Install GoKollab Downloader and activate it with a secure email OTP.
- Go to a lesson, on GoKollab or a compatible HighLevel portal, whose media or text you're allowed to access.
- Start playback if needed; some video sources only become detectable once they're playing.
- Browse the Videos, Images/GIFs and Text tabs in turn and tick what you want, or hit Download Visible.
- Supported assets are processed locally and land on disk under conflict-safe names.
Detection, extraction and saving all happen on your own device, and nothing is uploaded to outside servers. Offline copies are useful for study, handoffs or documentation.
Platform gating and compatibility
The extension switches on only for GoKollab and HighLevel portals built the same way, and on purpose it stays idle on every other site. It targets desktop Chromium-based browsers, namely Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera, on Windows, macOS and Linux, and is available worldwide. Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers aren't supported.
Video quality depends on the source platform, DRM-protected or inaccessible content can't be saved, and anything you capture has to be something you're already permitted both to view and to download.
Permission by permission
downloads: writes the videos and other assets it found onto your computer and gives them non-clashing names during auto-save.storage: keeps activation status, scan results and your preferences locally from one session to the next.activeTab: confirms that the tab you're on is a supported portal, then reads the lesson assets visible in it.tabs: keeps the download manager accurate as you switch lessons or portal tabs.scripting: searches the page for known video providers plus images, GIFs and text, and applies the gating rules while doing so.offscreen: runs stream conversion in a hidden context so HLS-based assets can be assembled without locking up the page.
FAQ
What types of content can be captured from a GoKollab lesson?
Videos, images, GIFs and the page's written text, on GoKollab and HighLevel-style portal pages. It's built for lessons that combine several kinds of content, not only video pages.
Which video hosts does it understand inside GoKollab?
The portal's own player plus embedded Loom, Vimeo, YouTube and Wistia, provided you can see and play those videos in your current session.
What does the Download Visible button actually do?
It saves, in one batch, every asset that has been detected on the page at that moment. That suits lessons pairing one or more videos with images, GIFs and text.
Can I run it on websites that aren't GoKollab portals?
No. It is gated to GoKollab and compatible HighLevel-powered portal pages and stays switched off elsewhere by design.
How would I save one particular GoKollab lesson video?
Open the lesson, press play if the source hasn't loaded yet, click the extension icon and choose the video in the Videos tab. Use Download Visible instead if you want the rest of the page as well.
Do I get a save dialog for each file?
No. Files are saved automatically by the browser without a dialog, and conflict-safe naming prevents repeated exports from overwriting one another.
Can I start a GoKollab save from the context menu?
No. Everything runs through the popup's tabs, the Download Visible button and the download manager built into the extension.
Will I get desktop alerts when a GoKollab download finishes?
No. You follow progress in the extension's interface and download manager instead of through desktop pop-ups.
Which browsers can GoKollab Downloader be installed in?
Desktop Chromium-based browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera, on Windows, macOS and Linux. Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers aren't targeted.
Are my lesson files uploaded anywhere?
No. Detecting assets, handling streams and producing files all happen locally in your browser. The only remote requests are for activation, update checks and the media streams you're already permitted to view.
