EroMe Downloader
An EroMe album can be deleted at any moment, so this extension lets you keep its videos and pictures on your own drive first.

Albums Don't Always Stay Online
EroMe offers no download control, and an album that is up today may be taken down tomorrow, either by the person who posted it or by the platform. Once it's removed, its videos and pictures are gone. EroMe Downloader lets you copy album media to your computer while it is still up.
Open an album and you'll find download actions sitting on each video and each image. Choose what to keep, pick a quality for the videos, and the files are stored locally: videos as standard MP4, pictures at full resolution. There are no links to copy, no shady converter pages, and no quality lost along the way.
Album Pages, Handled as Albums
The extension understands that an EroMe album mixes videos and pictures, and it detects both.
For video it draws on several sources at once: HTML5 video tags, inline scripts, global data on the page and the media requests it observes. When a direct MP4 exists it is downloaded as-is; when only HLS is available, the stream is converted to MP4 in a hidden offscreen context. Qualities are listed by resolution, with MP4 versions placed ahead of HLS when both are present.
Pictures are found through the attributes album media carries for their full-size files (data-original, data-full, data-download or data-src), and each image is saved in whatever original format the page exposes.
The Controls
- action buttons inside the page on video and image containers
- the toolbar popup
- a right-click menu entry to start a video download on supported pages
- a download manager showing progress bars, speed, cancel buttons and finished states
- desktop alerts when a download completes or runs into an error, so the tab doesn't need watching
Getting a Set of Files
- Install EroMe Downloader and activate it by verifying your email with a one-time passcode (OTP).
- Go to the album (or a single media page) on EroMe and let the gallery finish loading.
- Use the in-page buttons, the popup or the video context menu to choose a video quality or save a picture.
- Watch the download manager while files are written to Downloads/Erome. If a name is already taken, the new file gets a unique one.
Downloads are user-triggered, item by item. The extension can see every piece of media on the current album page, but it does not package a whole album into a single archive with one click.
Supported Setup
Works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux desktops worldwide.
It handles both album pages and single media pages on EroMe. Videos can come from a direct MP4 or an HLS stream, and album images are kept in their original format.
Out of scope: live broadcasts, media under DRM, anything you can't already open, and the Safari and mobile browser families.
Limits Worth Knowing
- It can only use media sources exposed during your current page session.
- Video quality is whatever EroMe serves for that item.
- Only use it on media you are already allowed to view and save.
Privacy, Plus the Permissions It Asks For
Media detection, picture extraction and video conversion happen locally in your browser, and nothing is sent to outside servers. The permissions are used as follows:
downloads: stores finished videos and pictures on your device and keeps each job's progress in sync with the manager.storage: remembers activation status, quality preferences and interface settings between sessions.activeTab: confines detection and in-page buttons to the EroMe tab you're actually using.tabs: follows navigation and tab switches so running downloads remain visible and controllable while you browse.scripting: pulls media sources out of the page structure and adds controls to supported video and image containers.notifications: sends completion and error alerts so the popup doesn't have to stay open.
FAQ
How can I save a video that's part of an EroMe album?
Open the album or media page, play the video, and start the download from the in-page button, the extension popup or the context menu. Choose a quality and an MP4 is written to your Downloads/Erome folder.
Are the pictures in an EroMe album downloadable as well?
Yes. The extension extracts images from album pages and saves each one in the original format the page exposes, when that's available.
How are video quality choices presented for EroMe?
You see the variants found across page and stream sources, sorted by quality. If both a direct MP4 and an HLS version exist, the MP4 is listed first.
Do EroMe videos come out as MP4 every time?
Yes. Direct MP4 files are kept unchanged, and HLS sources are stitched together and converted to MP4 within your browser.
Can it capture an EroMe live stream?
No. It is meant for album and media-page downloads, not for recording live broadcasts.
Is there a way to grab a whole EroMe album in one go?
The extension sees all media on the current album page, but downloads are started by you for each item. It doesn't bundle an album into a single archive automatically.
What are the scripting and offscreen permissions needed for?
Scripting lets the extension read media streams and place controls on supported tabs. The offscreen document handles HLS-to-MP4 conversion, which keeps the page you're viewing responsive while segments are assembled.
Why does it use declarativeNetRequest?
It sets small request-header rules for matching media endpoints, which keeps source fetching consistent across the different ways EroMe delivers media.
Is my desktop setup compatible with EroMe Downloader?
Desktop versions exist for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux. Safari and mobile browsers aren't compatible.
Do my EroMe files or details get sent to a server?
No. Detection, extraction and conversion run on your own computer inside the browser. Sign-in uses a secure OTP, and media files are never uploaded externally.
