How It Finds the File

Its first stop is the hash-aware /xhr/video/ lookup that EPorner's own player uses. If that returns nothing useful, it looks at media tags in the page, global page variables and addresses buried in scripts. Formats appear once playback has started, because that is when the player and the API report what's active. If nothing turns up, play the video, reopen the extension, and refresh the page if it is still empty.

It works on ordinary EPorner video pages and on supported embedded layouts, as long as the player exposes a source that can be downloaded.

Choosing and Saving

Open the list from the player button, the toolbar popup or the right-click menu. Every rendition the page really offers is shown, highest resolution first. When the same video exists as MP4 and as HLS, the MP4 is ranked ahead.

• A direct MP4 is downloaded as it is.
• An adaptive HLS stream is joined and converted into MP4 in an offscreen document inside the browser.
• Either way the result is written to Downloads/Eporner, a subfolder of your default download directory, so saves stay grouped rather than scattered across the top level.

A built-in manager follows each job with progress, speed and retry state, lets you cancel, and reports completion. Detection, conversion and saving all happen on your own computer; no video goes to an outside server.

Activation

After installing, confirm your email address with a one-time passcode (OTP). That activates the extension on the device you're using.

Where It Runs, and Where It Doesn't

You can install it on desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Whale or Yandex running Windows, macOS or Linux, and it is available worldwide.

It can handle EPorner pages and embeds, plain MP4 links, HLS streams that convert to MP4, and quality variants it reads from either the API or the page markup. It does not cover:

• Safari or browsers on phones and tablets
• live broadcasts
• downloading a whole playlist in bulk
• DRM-protected material or anything you can't otherwise open

You only get the qualities EPorner provides for a given video, and you need to already have the right to view and save what you download. Account gates and paywalls are not bypassed.

Yes. Direct MP4 sources are kept unchanged; HLS streams are stitched together and converted to MP4 inside your browser.

Start playback so EPorner releases the source data, then open the extension again. Still nothing? Refresh the page and retry.
