Posts on Coomer do not stay put

Creators are removed, posts rotate off the page, and Coomer has no save feature of its own. Coomer Downloader collects what is on a creator page (videos, images, GIFs and even text posts) and stores it on your computer, so a find does not vanish the next time the page changes.

What a scan returns

Open a creator page, or a single post, on Coomer.su (the main domain) or on the older Coomer.st and Coomer.party domains, then open the popup. Within seconds the extension gathers the IDs of the posts visible there, up to 60 per scan, asks the Coomer API for each post's details and pulls out every supported attachment. It only works with what you can already see on the page.

Results are split across tabs:

• Videos
• Images or GIFs
• Text Posts, which are exported as formatted TXT files carrying the post's metadata and source links

Media is saved at the original quality the API exposes. There is no quality picker, because nothing is transcoded; the files arrive as Coomer serves them.

Saving one item or a whole page

Pick single items from a tab, or use the bulk button (Download Visible, also called Download All) to queue everything in the current tab. On supported video pages a download button also sits inside the player. A built-in manager reports progress and speed and lets you cancel a job.

Files are filed automatically as Downloads/Coomer Downloader/<author>/<date - title>: one folder per creator, with each item prefixed by its publish date, so large collections stay easy to browse.

Getting started

Install it in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave or Opera and sign in with the one-time code emailed to you. Whale and Yandex are supported too, on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it can be used worldwide.

Permissions

• downloads: writes media and the generated text files to your device and keeps the download manager matched to running jobs.
• storage: holds activation status plus popup and download preferences locally between sessions.
• activeTab: allows a look at the current Coomer tab so the creator or post page you opened can be scanned.
• tabs: notices when you move to another creator or post so a fresh scan can run.
• scripting: injects the helper code and player buttons that asset detection and on-page video saving depend on.
• notifications: tells you when bulk jobs complete or fail, so they can run in the background with the popup closed.

Scanning, extraction, text file creation and downloading all run inside your browser; no media is sent to outside servers.

Out of scope

• A scan covers the visible posts of a creator page, not the whole site's archive in one click.
• It cannot be installed in Safari or on mobile browsers.
• Live streams are not handled.
• There is no right-click menu on Coomer pages.
• Restrictions, hidden access rules and DRM are never bypassed; you need existing permission to access what you download, and private or inaccessible content stays out of reach.

Which kinds of Coomer posts can be saved?

How does Coomer Downloader locate a creator's files?

Is it possible to grab a creator's whole page at once?

Why is there no resolution menu for Coomer files?

Because the original file the API exposes is what gets saved. Videos and images are downloaded untouched rather than re-encoded, so there is nothing to choose between.

How are Coomer downloads organised on disk?

Inside your browser's usual Downloads location, in a folder named Coomer Downloader, with a subfolder per creator and the publish date at the front of each name.

Does it work on Coomer.st and Coomer.party as well as Coomer.su?

Yes. Coomer.su is treated as the primary domain, and the legacy Coomer.st and Coomer.party domains also work.

Can it fetch Coomer posts I am not able to view?

No. It is limited to what the current page already lets you access and does not get around access controls, DRM or permissions you lack.

Which browsers and computers does Coomer Downloader run on?

It installs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux desktops; there is no Safari or mobile build.

Does any of my Coomer activity leave the browser?
