Boysfood Video Downloader
A download button wired into the BoysFood player lets you save videos from its /videos/ detail pages as MP4 files in your browser.
BoysFood, an adult video site, arranges its content by category and gives each video its own detail page. Multi-site browser downloaders seldom understand that page layout or the player it uses, and the outcome tends to be a broken file, a format that won't play, or no save option appearing at all. Boysfood Video Downloader handles BoysFood only. Instead of promising support for many sites, it reads the standard video sources and metadata fields BoysFood pages carry and turns them into a download flow that behaves the same way each time. A saved MP4 can then be watched later without an internet connection or kept as a personal backup.
Scope
- Pages: individual video detail pages, whose addresses look like
/videos/<id>/<video-name>/. The extension is tailored to these pages alone, not to the category listings that lead to them. - Domains: one tightly matched domain: the bare
boysfood.com,www.boysfood.comand any subdomain via a wildcard. It does nothing on other websites. - Controls: a branded download button is inserted into the wrapper element of the BoysFood player, and the toolbar popup offers the same choices whenever the button is active.
Detection and saving
The extension checks <video> tags and <source> elements first, then the page's embedded metadata, including Open Graph video fields and Twitter stream fields. Any direct video URL or HLS candidate turned up there becomes something you can download. A background download pipeline writes the result as an MP4 into a dedicated BoysFood/ folder.

Saving a video, start to finish
- Add the newest Boysfood release to your browser, picking the build meant for it.
- Open a BoysFood video detail page and let it load until the player has fully rendered.
- If the page holds back its media until the player is used, press play.
- Click the download button on the player; that starts detection.
- Look through the quality options listed in the popup and choose one.
- Start the download and wait while the background pipeline writes the MP4 into the
BoysFood/folder; you never leave the BoysFood page during any of this.
When no media turns up
Certain BoysFood pages keep their video sources hidden until the player has fully initialised and playback has started. If the download button is missing or the extension reports that it found no media, first check that the address follows the detail-page pattern, then press play, and reload the page if nothing changes.
Only save videos you own or have been given clear permission to keep.
FAQ
What should the page URL look like?
A BoysFood video detail page, with an address shaped like /videos/<id>/<video-name>/.
What sources does it pick up?
Direct video URLs and HLS candidates, located through the page's video tags, its source elements and its embedded metadata.
The popup doesn't open after installing. What should I do?
Confirm the extension was installed correctly from the latest release, then reload the BoysFood tab you had open.
Why am I seeing a permissions error?
Something requested during installation probably wasn't granted. It must be allowed to open BoysFood pages and to save files through the browser.
My download failed or the file is broken. Any ideas?
Check your internet connection and whether the video is still available on BoysFood. If it keeps happening, restart the browser.
Will it work if I browse a different site?
No. It is configured only for BoysFood domains and won't function elsewhere.
