Bingato Video Downloader
Bingato item pages get a download button on the player, so the video you're watching can be kept as an MP4 without extra software.
Bingato wraps its videos in a player that offers no download option of its own. This extension fills that gap from inside your browser: it spots the media the page exposes and puts the controls for saving it on the very page you are viewing. It is self-contained, so no additional software or tools are needed.
On the page
When you open a Bingato item or video page, the extension adds a button to the video wrapper. Clicking it, or opening the extension popup from the toolbar, shows you what was found. Host matching is specific to bingato.com and its subdomains, which matches the site's clean single-domain structure; the button won't appear elsewhere.
A typical session looks like this: let the player load, press play, then use the button or popup. Review the detected media, pick a quality when more than one is on offer, and start the download. Once processing finishes, the MP4 is saved to your computer.
Detection and output
- Media is located through standard page signals: video tags, source elements and metadata.
- Accepted inputs are direct MP4 files and HLS candidates found on Bingato pages.
- HLS streams are handled in an offscreen processing pipeline before saving.
- Every finished download is an MP4.
- Files are grouped in a Bingato folder.
- Quality choices appear when the source provides multiple resolutions; the options shown follow what the page exposes.
Privacy and independence
All processing happens on your own machine within the browser; no video data is sent off to an external server. Activation uses an email sign-in secured by a one-time password. The extension is an independent project: it isn't affiliated with Bingato and isn't endorsed by it.
Requirements
You need an internet connection for any download to complete, so a failure is the moment to check it. Detection waits for playback: if the list is empty, start the video and let the page finish loading. The button only appears on supported Bingato item and video pages. Download only videos that belong to you or that you have explicit permission to save.
