Detection by Metadata

The extension looks at what the page itself declares about its video. It reads:

• Open Graph media metadata
• the page's <video> tags and the <source> elements inside them

From those it collects direct video URLs and HLS candidates. HLS candidates, when present, are processed offscreen, and the saved result is always an MP4.

Setup and First Save

Install the extension from the GitHub Releases page and sign in with your email; a one-time password confirms the activation.

To save something, open a supported AmigosPorn permalink page with a video and let both the page and the player finish loading. If the player doesn't start on its own, press play, because on most pages detection works best once playback is under way and some sources only appear after the player initialises. Then click the button by the video, or open the popup, look over the candidates, choose one and press download. The finished MP4 is waiting in the AmigosPorn download folder.

Limits

Downloads need an internet connection, and a failed one is worth retrying after checking it, since a media source can be temporarily unavailable. Quality choices depend on what the page exposes, and not every AmigosPorn video has more than one resolution. If the button doesn't appear, confirm you're on a supported permalink page and refresh. If the extension never activates on the site, check that it is installed and has been granted its permissions for AmigosPorn domains. Only save AmigosPorn videos you own or have been clearly allowed to keep.
